Back for a 1.00pm match the Under 12's were up against the undefeated Weymouth side. Despite a huge effort in the field by Portland, Weymouth were able to finish on an impressive 166-2. Portland batted well against some fine bowling and fielding, they battled well and more than held their own. Every batsman made a valuable contribution but fell short, finishing on 82 all out in the final over. Coach Neven commented that "The team showed great improvement in all areas of the game. Christian Brown was his Man Of The Match for his excellent match behind the stumps and his application with the bat." He also praised Jordan Wilson for his display on his debut, but added that: "The whole team fought well and showed a great improvement once again and that all the players on the day were a credit to the club."
