Portland batted first with Sam Dalkins and Ryan Johnson opening the batting.  Sam went quickly for 4 bowled by D.Wey and was followed by Ryan run out on 6.  This brought Matt Randell and Josh Lamb to the wicket and they put on a good partnership until Josh was bowled by O.Downey for 9.  Jordan Pring came in and scored a quick 14 until he was also bowled by O.Downey.  Chris Theakston came in to steady the innings and then Matt was run out for 22.  Chris batted on his own to finish by being run out off the last ball for 9.  Downey bowled well with figures of 3 overs 2 wickets for 28 runs.  Portland finished with a total of ??????  

Martinstown opened with Downey and Lewis and quickly scored until Lewis was run out for 22 and Downey retired.  Kershaw and Wilson did some good hitting before retiring.  Fry came in and was unlucky to go to a good catch by Matt Randell off Ryan Johnson’s bowling.  Returning batsmen quickly knocked off the remaining runs.  Puddletown finished on ?????? and won convincingly
