Readers, having recently returned from a short visit to 'Gods country' (Cornwall), I thought it time to explain to the pre-packed eating plebs the true nature of a Cornish pastie. that is a pastie that doesn't come wrapped in plastic and placed upon a form of cardboard.

The true Cornish pastie is home made, there is no secret recipe, as each cook will have his or her own little secrets, but the basic ingredients remain the same and do not include stabilizers, E numbers or colouring.

There is much folklore surrounding the pastie, much of which is complete 'BULL' all you need to know is that a true Cornish pastie is made in Cornwall, are home made and not produced for take away minded morons. Take note Mr Ginster - you impostor and charlatan.

On another track all be it one I have mentioned in previous 'Notes' - small, narrow country lanes are not design for four wheel driving, turbo nutter bastards or similar - your over-priced, downright ugly and pretentious status symbol should all be scrapped, no in fact nuked and laid to rest in or on your very own garden, front room or driveway (delete as required).

Finally can I say as the new season approaches - play hard, do your best, support your skipper, but most of all enjoy the game.
