Left hand opening bat, good slip fielder and frustrated fast bowler. For many years Captain of the second XI. John is a punishing batsman who deserves considerable respect from all bowlers prone to dropping the ball short on the leg side. On his recent return to the Triangle first XI, John casually hit the first ball of the match for six, followed by a four, only to be caught out two balls later...typical!

| Other Information |
Considers the George his front room. Believes in a strong youth policy. Head of the militant BUF. Never scored a hundred for the club although often has in his dreams. Holds an NVQ in Nothe Fort studies or similar (international qualification). In the rust coloured Nissan Primera (turbo) will choose either Meatloaf or Classic FM for the journey's duration. This straight-down-the-line chap has found his power-base in recent years to be crumbling around him and is now left with only
shattered remnants of former glories. |
