Simon Proffitt secured his third player of the month award scoring 149 runs at an average of 37.25 from 4 innings, with 1 century. He added 13 wickets at an average of 7.46, including 2 five-fors with 7 of them coming against Cranborne.
Matt Barrett had a good month with bat and ball, hitting his first half-century with 51 against Old Blandfordians and taking 11 wickets at 4.73, including 5-18 against Compton House.
Matt Randell just edged out Nathan Cornish (364 pts) for the bronze award ending the month with 124 runs from 5 innnings, averaging 24.80. He also turned his arm over to take 5 wickets at 9.60, with 4-27 against Compton House.
Jack picked up 4 wickets at 26, but was unable to get off the mark with the bat collecting 3 ducks.
Joe Adkins is runner-up again to Jack, only managing 2 appearances as he was on holiday and then rain washed out 2 games. He recorded a 2* and 2 catches for July.
Ryley Marsh continues to put in stellar performances in the field, but is still looking to hold his first catch. He at least managed to score 3 more runs than his brother.
George finally found some form with the bat in July, scoring 34 runs in a losing cause at Witchampton, along with picking up 4 wickets and 3 catches.
Matt Barrett's maiden fifty along with 11 wickets, saw his points increase by 366 compared with last month.
Elliott Sawyer typified the theory of marginal gains, upping his points per game by 300% compared with June.
Olly Thomas returned to action after a few years away from the game, but despite some promising early deliveries, Olly finished going for 8.33 an over, then picked up a golden duck.
