Here we salute or condemn those purveyors of Dorset's cricket food fare, after a stern examination of their wares, reaching conclusions that will redefine the concept of food. Venue: Abbotsbury 26th April
Presentation	Fine, did well in the confined and spartan surroundings, the green leaf adding a much needed hint of colour.
Selection	Wide choice, though some sandwich fillings were rather post-modern in their design; egg mayonnaise and onion, tuna and tomato, ham and jam. But then Abbotsbury is moving unlike the Island into the twenty first century.
Quality	Though absent on the field the quality of Abbotsbury's '12th man' will stand them in good stead for the coming season
Taste	Excellent, victoria sponge with a dusting of icing sugar, scones worthy of the northern pronunciation,
Tea	Where's the dumplings? stewed and lukewarm though wet in essence and poured with 72 year's experience by Phil 'Pappa Smurf' Hutchings, into Lilliputian sized recepticals
